Shawn made every part of this storage wall himself. He built each cabinet box from scratch instead of using ready-made units, then stained the bench to finish it.

We're Shawn and Juliane, the proud owners of Prestige Woodwork & Design. Our story began in high school, where we first met, and years later, life brought us back together. Reconnecting later in life gave us the opportunity to combine our shared values, dedication, and passion for creating something meaningful.
Shawn's start in construction came in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a construction engineer and first found his passion for building and woodworking. That passion grew into over 20 years of experience in finish carpentry, including an appearance on HGTV's 100 Day Dream Home, and into a family-owned business dedicated to transforming homes throughout Tampa Bay and the surrounding areas.
As a proud veteran-owned and operated company, we bring the standards Shawn learned in the Marine Corps to every project we undertake: dedication, integrity, and attention to detail. Our passion lies in creating beautiful, functional spaces that reflect each homeowner's unique style and vision.

It depends on the size, materials and finish, which is exactly what the free estimate is for. We build everything from small trim jobs to full wine cellars, so send a few photos and rough dimensions and we will price it in writing.
Yes! Ask us for our license and insurance information when we quote your job. We are glad to provide it.
Custom TV walls and fireplace surrounds, staircases and railings, crown molding, trim and wainscoting, and cabinetry and walk in closets, plus accent walls and full built-ins as part of larger remodels. If it is built in wood in your home, ask us.
It depends on the scope, from a few days for trim work to several weeks for a full wine cellar or staircase. We give you a realistic timeline in writing along with the estimate.
Yes. Prestige Woodwork & Design is veteran owned and operated. Shawn served in the United States Marine Corps as a construction engineer, which is where he learned to build and first found his passion for construction and woodworking.
